Mr Dimitri Kazakos

I had my surgery done on 20/03/09 at the Dublin branch, and Dimitri Kazakos made it all very easy for me. He answered any questions I had before the surgery and during the surgery he made me feel very relaxed and comfortable. I did feel some discomfort after the surgery but this had gone after I had gone home and went to sleep for a few hours, I could not believe how improved my eyesight was the next day after a nights sleep it was amazing, it is now 4 days after the surgery and it seems as if my sight is improving even more as the days pass.For anyone who is thinking about having this done I would recommend you do so as it makes such a difference.Thanks Dimitri Kazakos for making the procedure seem so easy.

I had Lasik Wavefront treatment carried out in Southampton about a week ago and found Dimitri to be very welcoming and put my initial worries at rest, in fact all the staff at Southampton were very helpful and kind.The treatment itself was carried out in around 10 minutes, intially i had some discomfort in my left eye, but the right felt pretty ok from the off, the next day my sight had improved dramically i and i could see weel enough to drive the 5 miles to my 24 hour checkup, althoug the vision in my right eye was very slightly clearer than the left, after a bout 4-5 days they evened up.My long distance vision is after 6 days now brillient, but i'm still not quite there seeing clearly in my short distance sight, like reading, looking at my watch, or reading text's on my mobile is still not quite here as yet, but it is getting better day by day, and first thing in the moring it takes a little while for my sight to clear properly, and takes about 10-15 minutes to do so but at least i can now see to use my PC, hence why I'm writing this 6 days after the op, if my sight continues to keep getting better over the next week or so I'll be even happier. I had Lasik standard treatment with Intralase done on 01/03/09 in Donegal Place clinic in Belfast.I was -8 in my right eye and -7.5 in my left with quite bad astigmatism and having been refused treatment three years ago I was delighted to find that I could now have it done.From consultation through to post treatment check up I found all the staff very friendly and helpful.On the day of my treatment I met Mr Kazakos who was very pleasant indeed and gave me an opportunity to ask any further questions.During the procedure he and his staff were excellent.Professional and very reassuring.They really put me at ease and it was over before I knew it.I felt no pain at all.Just a slight pressure on my eyes.And noticed the difference immediately although it was a little hazy.Next day was astonishing.On my 24hr check up I was told I had slightly better than 20/20 vision.Amazing!Having freedom from contact lenses and glasses will make such a difference to my life and I cannot thank Mr Kazakos and the wonderful staff of Optical Express enough.I would highly recommend this treatment!

I unfortunately had some complications during my treatment which meant interrupting, and restarting the treatment to cut the trapdoor in both eyes. MrKazakov was clam and reassuring throughout which helped to relieve my anxiety. Mr Kalakos had a lovely, kind and personable manner, I'd recommend him without reserve to anyone else having this treatment.

I had my standard mechanical LASIK surgery on 27/3/09 in Dublin. At all times before and after surgery Mr. Kazakos and his staff made me feel totally at ease.Although my eyesight before surgery was only slightly short sighted i noticed an immediate difference within a half an hour of surgery.I am no over two weeks after surgery and eyesight is better than 20/20.I would have no hesitation in recommending Mr. Kazakos to any of my friends or family.

I had the Lasik procedure performed on 9 April, just one week ago and it is life changing! I still feel that it was all a dream and that I will wake up and have to reach for my glasses in the morning! Apart from the misty vision immediately after and a bit of streaming due to light sensitivity my vision is now 20/20, I am looking at the world through new eyes. I had the Lasik Acu Wavefront Intralase procedure done at the Dublin branch of Optical Express in Wellington Road on Thurs 5 Feb 2009. I was short-sighted with a prescription of -3.00 and -3.25, but now have better than 20/20 vision! Mr Dimitris Kazakos performed the surgery and he was excellent, very professional and friendly and he put me at my ease immediately. He explained what he was doing at each stage and it passed very quickly. I had it all over in about 10 minutes. Afterwards I was taken in to the very comfortable waiting room where my after care routine was very clearly explained to me by Paul, one of the surgical assistants. I could have actually left after half an hour but my lift wasn't coming for a couple of hours so I was kindly allowed to continue waiting in the room and relax until my lift arrived. Apart from some grittiness directly after the procedure I have had no problems at all. I have two small children under 3 and the convenience of not having to bother with glasses and contact lenses has been amazing, it is well worth the money. I would highly recommend Dimitris and Optical Express!

I had my eye surgery done on Monday 27th April in Belfast, Mr Kazakos put me at ease as I relaxed and listened to the back ground music (should I stay or should I go now) and am I glad I stayed... I was back working, driving and all within 48 hours having had excellent results from my surgery. I would fully recommend this to all my friends and family and would like to take this opportunity to thank Mr Kazakos for the excellent job done.

I had my LASIK eye surgery done in the belfast branch on 30/04/2009 by Dr. Dimitri Kazakos and I am thrilled with the result, my only regret is not having it done sooner. I live in Dublin but opted for the Belfast branch because I got a better deal having the procedure done up there. I had my consultation in Ballsbridge and am having my aftercare also in Ballsbridge. I found every member of staff that I met right from the beginning were very kind, considerate and hepful and would like to take this opportunity to thank all of them. My procedure was totally pain free and it was over in no time. My sight was very good when I was leaving the clinic and by Friday 01/05/2009 I had 20/20 vision and had no itchiness, tiredness or any other side effects - it was terrific. My prescription was -5.00 in both eyes and I also have a slight astigmatism. Having been wearing glasses for 31 years it is a great feeling knowing I can go about normal daily tasks without thinking of glasses or contact lenses any more. I would recommend Optical express and all its staff members to anyone thionking of having laser eye surgery done without any hesitation. Thanks a million.
