Accuvision Laser Eye Clinic

I am a Keratoconus patient with Accuvision and have had the C3-R (Cross-linking) treatment done this year. I now have much more accurate sight with my glasses and have been told that I will be able to wear soft lenses very soon. The treatment offered is second to none and the staff are friendly. I will be honest and admit that there is some pain after the treatment but it is bearable and definately worth it. The cost of the treatment is not cheap but lets be honest sight is not something you can really put a price on. Hopefully the great service will continue and more people will be treated with success because what Accuvision do is really amazing. Thanks!

I had my treatment on Friday 9th October 2009. I was very nervous. I needn't have been. Just before I went into my treatment, I was fortunate enough to talk to a woman who had the treatment a few months earlier, and was visiting for a check-up. Talking to her put my mind at rest and once I decided to put myself in the hands of the experts, I relaxed. The time was approximately 3.30pm. The treatment lasted 1.14 minutes for the right eye and 1.20 minutes for the left. There was absolutely no pain and a nurse held my hand thoughout. Actually, it was quite an amazing laser light show!! I left the clinic within about 45 minutes and went to a hotel with my husband. I lay on the bed for a while with my eyes closed, as they were watering, although not painful. By 6pm I was bored and hungry so put some make-up on (not around my eyes) and we walked 15 minutes to a great restaurant near Chelsea Harbour. There was a halo around all the lights, but other than that, I could see amazingly well. We had a lovely meal, (Felicity Kendalll was sitting opposite us and I could actually see her beautiful skin with no glasses and no contacts). We walked back to the hotel and watched a programme on television before falling asleep. I thought I had come to London for treatment and that I would be incapacitated for the majority of the time. But we had a really lovely evening. In the morning we went back for a check-up. My eyes had healed well and the contact lense bandages were removed. I am amazed at my own recovery and how well I could see. I have had monovision and understand that it may well take a few weeks to get used to the under correction in my right eye. All in all, it was a great experience. Thanks to all the Team.

I was extremely impressed with the overall experience and feel that Accuvision offer the best value for money service of all its competitors. The staff are always friendly and take the time to explain fully what is going on. I was amazed that the procedure was so pain free, and that the results were instantaneous. My only regret is that I didn't do this sooner. Top marks for Accuvision, truly professional yet personal service.

I would recommend Accuvision to anyone. After going in for a consultation, any lingering doubts I had were gone I booked my surgery for the soonest date possible. Six weeks or so post-operation, my only regret is that I didn't do it sooner. The staff at the London clinic are most professional, yet extraordinarily personable and genuinely friendly. During all stages of care, I have had all questions answered, each testing procedure clearly explained, and the staff seem to remember every patient that walks through the door. After a lot of comparison shopping, I do not believe anyone out there could beat Accuvision for balance between value and quality of care. Again, the degree of patient-focus is striking.

I would highly recommend this surgery to anyone. Having the vision correction surgery has changed my life, no more contacts or glasses YIPPEE!!! The after care has been amazing too. So glad I finally got it done.

I had the laser treatment a couple of weeks ago now and I feel so blessed - hallelujah! I can see so perfectly and it is so life enhancing to be able to fully appreciate each moment. Having wanted to have this surgery for nearly 10 years, it took a lot of courage to just call Accuvision and make an appointment. A good friend of mine recommended Accuvision, so I made the consultation appointment. I had Vikash for my consultation and instantly felt at ease with him. I felt confident that he would give me all the information I needed to make an informed decision. After the consultation, they gave me all the available appointments & I was able to book in 2 days later for the surgery. I was rather nervous the day of the surgery, but once I got there everything moved quickly, and I was literally in & out of surgery within 15 minutes! There was no pain or discomfort & the team were extremely professional & friendly. The after care offered by Accuvision is fantastic, they are available even if you have the tiniest worry. I can't thank the whole team at Accuvision London enough, but particularly Vikash who made me feel comfortable enough to trust them with my eyes. The outcome is phenomenal, I could not be happier.

I underwent the procedure on 14th August 2009, and have just had the follow-up session which simply confirmed that which I already know - eyesight is back to where it should be. The pleasure that can be gained from such simple things as not getting your glasses steamed up all the time. Insofar as I am aware, the technology is not the differentiator here, it is more about the team, the follow-up and support. The guys at the Fulham office were outstanding, even down to things like remembering your name and being able to relate to what it is that you are going through and the decisions that you are having to make. This is a big step, not something to be taken lightly, however if you do decide to take it further - use this lot. I should have done it years ago

OUTSTANDING!! I wish I'd had this done years ago. I had Wavefront Lasik for mono-vision. Although I was nervous, the team put me at ease and the procedure was over before I knew it - with no pain or discomfort. Within half an hour of the procedure I had 20/25 vision and by the next morning when I revisited, I had 20/20 vision and could read even the smallest print on the reading card! Went back yesterday for my 1 week check-up, everything healing nicely and ahead of schedule AND now have 20/18 vision!!!! Amazing! Thank you to all the Accuvision team and their fantastic service and care - I highly recommend them to anyone thinking about this fantastic treatment

I would like to start off my thanking the team at Accuvision for the amazing service that they provided! I had glasses since the age of 5 and contacts since I was 16. I was near sighted and had astigmatism. I was blind without my glasses or contacts! Now at 25 I was completely fed up of dealing with the trials of corrective lenses. I started researching the many different laser surgery clinics in London and came across Accuvision. What drew me to them was the fact that they did not take a 'deposit' for the consultation like many of the other clinics do. That way I was not trapped into choosing them to do the treatment. My boyfriend and I went to the consultation together (he wore contacts and glasses as well) and were greeted by the friendly receptionist. At the consultation our eyes were tested for the eligibility and were told of all the risks involved in the procedure, no question was left unanswered. After the consultation we were so reassured by the clinic that we booked in to do our surgery 6 days later. During the surgery I must admit, I was quite nervous, but the surgeon spoke to me throughout the entire procedure, reassuring me along the way. I was in and out of the surgery theatre within about 15 minutes then it was my boyfriend's turn. It went amazingly quick. After the surgery my eyes were burning and itching like crazy but that was all expected. Over the next few days we had very itchy eyes and some blurriness but beyond that WE COULD SEE! Now 2 weeks later both of our eyes are 100%! All the blurriness is gone and even my night vision is perfect. I still wake up in the morning and for a split second I look for my glasses on my night stand, then I remember I don't need them and it makes me ecstatic about the surgery all over again! I really do feel like the team at Accuvision is a family and they treat their patients like family. I would recommend them to any and everyone I meet who is considering laser eye surgery. They truly are amazing!
