Wow! What can I say but thank you to Accuvision. I can see perfectly without my specs or contact lenses. Being short sighted with a prescription of -6 each eye, I never thought I would be typing a testimonial with 20/20 vision!

I would recommend AccuVision to all my family and friends. The treatment and the level of service which I received was of the highest quality. I attended the Surgery alone and the team did everything they could to make me feel reassured and calm. I am so pleased that I had laser eye surgery with AccuVision, the only thing I regret is not having it done sooner! If anyone is considering the Surgery I would really recommended that you have a consultation because once you meet the team and see the faculties you will be asking when the next free Surgery Appointment is available! The price was also very reasonable, I have spoken to people who had Surgery at other clinics who claim to be cheaper, but once they had paid everything it was the same price as AccuVision but they had received far poorer service using lower levels of laser technology for the same price. I am really enthusiastic about AccuVision and am so pleased that I choose them and had the surgery. 10 minutes after the surgery I noticed a difference and over the last 2 weeks my eye sight has got better and better! If you're thinking about laser surgery then I can certainly recommend Accuvision. I'd worn contact lenses for 35 years to correct my short sight (-4.0 and -4.5). Now in my early fifties I was also needing to use glasses for reading and pc work. I went along for my free consultation with high hopes that I would be a suitable candidate. Had a very thorough examination by Vik, who also told me about possible risks and realistic expectations and outcomes. Mono-vision seemed to be a feasible option for me which would enable me to dispense with lenses and glasses with my left (dominant) eye being corrected for long sight and my right eye slightly under-corrected for near site. I was planning to go ahead there and then, however, Vik explained that because I had worn contact lenses for many years it had distorted the shape of my left cornea and suggested that I wait a further month in order to allow the cornea to relax....a bit of a pain as I was then left with the prospect of only wearing my reading glasses for a further month (no lenses)...but it was well worth the wait! So it's now just under two weeks since the surgery (performed by Chad Rostron) and I am delighted with the result. My eyesight both near and far is better than I can remember even with my contact lenses. The surgery really does not hurt (honestly!!), it's an intense few seconds but all over before you know it. On the evening of the surgery my eyes were comfortable, no pain or irritation and my sight was really good.....and it has improved further since and I've had no problems getting used to provisional. I've been for two post surgery checks now with Joan and all appears to be healing well and in line with their expectations. Left eye is already 20/20 vision. The after-care is great and nothing is too much trouble. Exceptional service - thank you to all the team!

Had monovision laser treatment at Wetherby clinic on Saturday lunchtime. Sunday morning had the protective lens removed and went home to read Sunday newspapers!! By the end of the night, I was able to read extremely small print on the back of a spray can. Didnt think this would be possible and this treatment has exceeded my expectations. Thank you so much.

I was very nervous about my treatment and had been putting off coming for a consultation. However, as soon as I was through the door, my initial fears subsided, as I felt I was really being taken care of. I was given a thorough examination with straightforward explanations following, giving me all the information I needed to feel comfortable with the procedure. On the day of the surgery the level of care I received was superb, and after care reassurance was very much appreciated. Now when I look back on the last twenty years of wearing contact lenses, I must have been MAD. Being able to see perfectly is worth every penny spent with the great team at Accuvision. I hope this testimonial is not too gushing in its praise, but it really was THAT GOOD. If you are unsure like me, forget your fears and go for it.

I had my eyes corrected 18 months ago (May 2008) with AccuVision & found their service FANTASTIC! I went to 3 clinics (Optical Express & Ultralase). OE did not inspire any confidence & UL were very good but wanted £4000! AccuVision charged me £1700 (I had astigmatism in both eyes & was short sighted too). I'd heard very good things about AccuVision from a work colleague so went for the free initial consultation. The staff were really nice & explained everything (the benefits as well as the inevitable slight risks) and left me to decide what I wanted to do. There was no hard sell whatsoever. I decided to go ahead & the procedure was exactly as they described. No pain - it felt 'intense' - like going to the dentist & sitting in the seat very still while they did their stuff. The results straight afterwards were great - over the next couple of days my sight got better & better (I was safe to drive the next day). I went back after 12 months for the final checks - I now have better that 20/20 vision!!! They are so good I've just taken my wife there to get her eyes corrected (she's having problems reading now)!

I have always been sceptical about laser eye surgery, but decided to take the plunge with Accuvision. To be honest I was initially booked in with Optical Express but changed my mind within a week, bigger company doesn't always mean better. I took the Trans-Ephithelial surface procedure, I was impressed with the overall experience from my initial consultation to the post-ops, the service was 100% consistent and the staff were always very friendly. The procedure was pain free, and every step explained but I would definitely recommend taking 5 days at least to allow your eyes to settle if your considering Trans-Epithelial. Other than that it's the best thing I have ever done. Thanks Accuvision Team.

I have worn glasses since I was at primary school and ever since finding out about laser treatment I wanted to get the treatment. Due to recent redundancy I had some spare cash and chose to invest in the treatment. I contacted the companies that advertised and read reviews on the internet about the treatments available and came across Accuvision. The reviews were very favourable and they even offer a no-obligation free consultation. The consultation was very in-depth and I was offered the various treatment options but advised that due to corneal thinning and an active lifestyle that the most suitable was the Trans-Epithelial 'no touch' Surface Treatment. I had the surgery 7 days ago in Solihull and would recommend it to anyone. This type of treatment has its long term benefits but I was made aware that there would be short term discomfort. For the 12 hours after the Op it was difficult to open my eyes, even for the soothing drops - not painful, but uncomfortable like grit in the eye! Following the check up the next day I could open my eyes although vision was blurry. On the morning of day 3 my long distance vision was better than it had been with lenses! I was back at work only 4 days after the operation and although the vision is variable, as expected for the first couple of weeks, I really enjoy my new freedom from glasses. If you are considering having the treatment then I recommend talking to Accusvion - no fee consultation, great service & good value for money!
