Established in 2001, AccuVision is a popular destination for people seeking quality, affordable laser eye surgery. This clinic currently operates in five cities nationwide: London, Birmingham, Leeds, Bristol and Newcastle, and has performed over 40,000 treatments and counting.
What did independent inspectors find? According to the CQC’s latest report, there were no complaints between August 2016 and September 2017 from 1,011 refractive eye procedures carried out at AccuVision.

2. AccuVision Treatments
As well as common laser vision correction treatments – such as LASEK and LASIK with ultra-accurate Wavefront diagnostics – AccuVision also offers lens replacement surgery, including the UK’s most common surgical procedure: cataract surgery.

So is it safe? AccuVision promises highly sophisticated, automated devices, with world-class Wavefront technology and the Alcon WaveLight EX500 Excimer laser. 3. AccuVision Laser Eye Clinic Prices
AccuVision’s prices are reasonable rates in laser eye surgery. On average, 800 patients told Lasik Eyes they paid £1,200 (per eye) for laser eye surgery, and £3,615 (per eye) for lens replacement surgery (including cataract surgery) – few clinics have lower starting prices.

Eye surgery isn’t an insignificant cost for most people. That’s why AccuVision offers a 10 month finance option, which lets you spread the costs of surgery after the initial deposit into smaller monthly fees. You will need to pass a credit check with Hitachi Capital to gain approval for this payment plan.
That said, most clinics provide finance plans for much longer – up to three years, and also team up with health insurers who may cover at least some of the costs of the surgery (which AccuVision doesn’t).

Can’t see my old review on here, but I had the treatment at Accuvision 9 years ago and still have 20/20 vision. Seriously worth doing. Don’t go for the cheapest option, you only have one pair of eyes. Save up and go for the best. Had friends finally have the operation, universal response is ‘should have done it years ago’. Huge amounts of both time and money saved since then in putting in/taking out and cleaning lenses, buying them, glasses, cleaning fluids, opticians appointments etc.

All my life I have worn glasses. For a long time I tried everything. Rigid contact lenses, soft contact lenses but it was not what I wanted. In addition to this I was short-sighted (-6.5) and had astigmatism. I thought about it for more than 20 year (a long time). All the time there was always something that put it out of my reach. One year ago I started on the internet to look for an appropriate company and finally found Accuvision. It was then I knew I had found what I wanted. And now the procedure. My LASIK op was on 8th of April. It is absolutely painless really, really. The only thing I was scared of was that although I am British my first language is not English. During my operation I thought about what would happen if there was something I did not understand. It sounds funny now but it was not so at the time, however everything went well. Outstanding! I am recommending it to all my friends. I would like to say thanks to all the team and especially my surgeon Mr Chad Rostron. They were all amazing! Thanks again! One more thing - It is very important that for 24 hours after the op please do all that you are asked to do, it is essential for a quick recovery.

I had laser eye surgery 6 months ago and still wake up every day completely overawed that I can see the time on my alarm clock without having to reach for my glasses! My prescription before surgery was -7.5 in both eyes, with astigmatism. At my last check up a few weeks ago my prescription is now 0 in both eyes, a fantastic result! I wore glasses and contact lenses for 20 years and from having -5 sight I now I have 20:20. Its unbelievable. I had the treatment just over 3 months ago and I still haven't got used to not needing my glasses as soon as I wake up! It is incredible being able to see without aid. I am so happy. It is a life changing experience. I am a teacher of small children and it has made life easier at school, I don't have issues with my contacts or have my glasses sliding down my nose at unhelpful moments. I was incredibly nervous of the procedure even though I was told everything that would happen. I had the surgery where they cut the flap (which freaks everyone out) but infact was fine. On the day of surgery it all happened so fast. I was in and out so quickly. The team were so professional and I felt safe all the time. There was no pain, just discomfort for the first few days. After quite a few years of research into laser eye surgery I came across Accuvision. After reading other patients testimonials I decided that I was going to take the plunge and book a consultation for the Leeds Clinic. I met with Simon Falk at his practice in Leeds in September 2009 and was immediately put at ease. After a thorough examination of my eyes by Simon I was told that I was suitable for laser eye surgery and was offered the option of Lasik or Lasek surgery. I decided the best option for me was to go with the Lasik surgery. As the clinic in Leeds was due to open in October I decided that I would wait for a few months before going ahead with the surgery. I finally booked my surgery date for 16th February 2010 and arrived at the clinic at 11am for my surgery. To say that I was a little nervous was an understatement, but I was greeted by Vic and immediately put at ease. I met with Simon again and was given a final check before I went ahead with my surgery. The whole procedure lasted less than 5 minutes and I had both eyes treated at the same appointment. It was an intense feeling but no pain what so ever. When I went back the following day for them to check my eyes, it was the first time in 15 years that I could see without my glasses. I have just been for my one month checkup this week and I now have better than 20/20 vision and am thrilled not to have to wear my glasses any longer, it has made such a difference! I'd just like to take this opportunity to thank the staff at Accuvision for their care and support, in particular Simon, who has put me totally at ease throughout all my visits. Thanks once again!!

After wearing glasses and contact lenses for 25 years I thought it was time to get rid of them. I had enquired at a few places about laser eye surgery and then I came to Accuvision where Vikash looked after me. The procedure was painless which was what I was scared of the most. The laser used was a wavelight and a microkeratome was used to cut the flap. I am so pleased with the result I have gone from a prescription of -7.5 to 20:20 vision. Doing laser eye surgery was one of the best things I could have done. Im 29 but so wish I did it sooner. The team at Accuvision were great, they were clean, they explained the process to me before hand and whilst I was doing the surgery. I was able too see 5 minutes after I left the surgery. Optimax and Ultralase were very money driven and were willing too charge me £4000 for each eye. I did my surgery on 30th October 2010 and its now March 2010. Now and then my eyes do have a slight each and Im still a bit sensitive too light but otherwise I think its brilliant. My prescription was -4,5 in one eye and -3,5 in the other and they were just getting worse and worse. Do your research and make a decision, you wont regret it. What I also liked about Accuvision was the payment option. Its really affordable too pay it off on a monthly basis.

Top marks for the whole accuvision experience! Was really impressed with the service. Went for the consultation and all my options were discussed in detail with me, pros and potential cons. I never felt pressurised into going through with the procedure but very glad I did, amazing results and definitely worth the few minutes of scariness! The surgeons also are very friendly and personable, making the process less daunting. Results were evident almost immediately and thankfully I had absolutely no problems afterwards. Really would recommend this treatment, life changing experience which could not be carried out by a better team - again many many thanks accuvision!
