well what can i say apart from fantastic. from my very first consultation till the end of my aftercare treatment. dr danjoux and his team right from the receptionists to the surgeons were nothing but professional with me at all time.i would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone considering surgery as the treatment and aftercare are second to none. i can honestly say my life has changed dramatically since having the procedure done last year.money well spent so thank you to each and everyone of you that i had contact with. and a special thank you to dr danjoux and the optomertrist who done all my aftercare treatment.

I am over the moon with my new eyes, I have worn specs from being a child, My normal specs were very expensive due to my prescription. Now i don't need specs or contacts to read or drive. Mr Danjoux and his team are very efficient and pleasant. This is a no nonsense team, no sales pitch, and no false promises, What you see is what you get,and in my case a lot better than expected so far Keep up the good work. Thank-you very much

As a private patient I was kept waiting well over an hour before each procedure. The staff were okay but I did feel like a slab of meat
on a conveyor belt – certainly no friendly reassurance or being made to feel at ease. I specifically wanted to be able to read easily and wanted my short sightedness corrected. I ended up with great long distance and not being able to read at all without spectacles. I do feel that the benefits/disadvantages were not explained sufficiently as pertaining to my individual case and my requirements.Problems relating to age and macular degeneration were not mentioned until after the operation. Mr Danjoux also stated in the initial consultation that additional laser treatment would be available post-op if required to fine tune the vision. This later vanished as an option and he denied saying it. I feel that I was sold this surgery and that if he had been honest my surgeon should have told me that it would not meet my expectations and would be of minimal benefit.The worst decision of my life – wish I had saved the cash. Would not recommend at all

I am short sighted and have excellent reading ability without the need for glasses, My surgeon, Mr Danjoux suggested I had surgery on my left eye only which would allow me still to have the reading ability without assistance and explained that my vision would balance out between both eyes. At first after the surgery I thought this hadn't worked properly, but I was very impatient, each day my site got better and after a couple of weeks my site in my left eye became much stronger and now some 9 months on my visions is perfect - I now enjoy life without having to wear glasses/lenses and still am able to read without assistance. Mr Danjoux is a lovely man and his staff at Site for Eyes are extremely professional and supportive, the after-care I received was second to none and I would recommend anyone verging on the idea of eye surgery to go ahead - it is definitely is not a painful experience and the benefits gained afterwards are immense. Thanks to Mr Danjoux and his team I have my life back, eye surgery has given me so much more self-confidence. Thank you!!

I would not hesitate to recommend Mr Danjoux and all the staff at this clinic. Having my eyes treated was one of the very best things I have ever done. My eyes were short-sited with astigmatisms in both eyes - one relatively bad. I decided sometime ago that I wanted to have the treatment and did some research. Before I even made an appointment for a consultation I felt very reassured by the information on-line and in their brochure about Mr Danjoux and his clinic and felt at ease knowing his full qualifications and his reputation. The consultation was excellent all the appropriate tests were carried out with the utmost professionalism and when discussing the proceedure with Mr Danjoux everything was fully explained including all the things that could go wrong as well as the hoped for outcome. I felt I was able to make my decision fully informed. I was that confident upon leaving the consultation room I booked my treatment before leaving the clinic. Everything Mr Danjoux told me bore out the research that I had done and left me feeling he had been totally honest and had my very best interests at heart. The proceedure itself was easy and I was made to feel confortable all the way through as each step of the proceedure was explained to me as it happened. I had both eyes treated on the same day in the afternoon and by the evening I knew the procedure had been succesful and altthough Mr Danjoux had not guaranteed me perfect vision (which of course would be impossible and unrealistic to expect him to) I now have fantastic vision, no need for glasses at all even though my vision had been relatively poor. The ongoing care and check-ups have been great fully reassuring me of the health of my eyes and how well they have healed. Of course money comes into it and no procedure like this is cheap but every penny was well spent for the treatment, care and concern that has been afforded to me my Mr Danjoux and his team. Thank you all.

I would definately recommend this clinic to everyone. Mr Danjoux made sure I knew exactly what the procedure involved and he was extremely reassuring throughout the whole process. In fact all the staff involved were absolutely wonderful and the care is top class: I really can't praise them high enough. It is fabulour being able to see without needing glasses or contact lenses. Money well spent and I only wish I had went to the clinic sooner!

I chose site for eyes on recommendation and was not disappointed. The assessment was thorough and time was taken to explain the options available to me, including the risks. I felt under no pressure to agree to treatment. The costs were clearly set out in the literature sent to me prior to assessment and confirmed at the appointment. Once I had decided to go ahead the dates for each eye were set and subsequently adhered to. The procedures were fully explained and I felt well supported by nursing staff during procedures. I had every confidence in the surgeon throughout. The operations were successful and follow up efficient. Overall the whole process was efficient and effective. I have worn glasses since the age of seven, and for thirty years contact lenses as well. I now have almost perfect vision - I can both read and see distance without the need for either. I feel as if I have been given the gift of sight. I can wholeheartedly recommend site for eyes.

Would recommend to everyone. The treatment was well explained. I had a problems with my left eye which required a different procedure due to the size of the socket but this was sorted out as soon as it healed. The procedure was painful (mainly the clamps to keep the eye open) but once completed I had no side effects at all. The staff were friendly and put me at ease. I wish I had it done earlier.

Would absolutely recommend to everyone. Surroundings are "understated" but my initial consultation with consultant Mr Danjoux gave me every confidence to proceed. He explained everything patiently and clearly and I had no questions. My own internet research beforehand helped enormously. I was extremely short sighted (-9) and I had both eyes done at the same time. The right eye needed retouching 4 months later to leave me with excellent sight in that eye and slightly poorer sight in the left - with the result that long distance vision is good and reading vision is good. An absolutely excellent result. Friendly and caring staff made the (horrible) experience bearable and I cannot praise Mr Danjoux's skills enough. I was right to pay more to have the very best machine and consultant. My previous consultations with Ultralase and Optimax made me very uneasy given my poor eyesight. I would give the clinic the highest rating.

I hated the idea that I would be dependant on glasses for the rest of my life. That was until I visited site-for-eyes and met Mr Danjoux. He explained lasik to me and went through every possible outcome and side effect then left the decision to me, he was very thorough and professional as were his whole team. I had both eyes done at the same time, the procedure was slightly uncomfortable, only because my head was strapped to keep my head still the actual lasik treatment was totally pain free. My eyes watered for 1 hour after the procedure but that was it, no pain and no side effects. I went from needing glasses for everything to having better that 20/20 vision. My life has completely changed. No more messing around with lens or hunting done glasses. I am able to go on holiday and only take sun glasses, not having to balance glasses, lens, sunglasses if wearing lens or prescription sun glasses if not. I can go swimming without worrying about losing my lens or glasses in the pool or swimming into peolpe because I can't see them. If anyone is undecided go for it, it is absolutley brilliant and worth every penny. You won't regret the decision.
