Excellent ! I've been wearing Specs and Contact lenses for over 20 years, what a fantastic feeling just waking up and being able to see with specs ! The whole experience has bee just brilliant, all the Optical Express staff I have had the pleasure of dealing with have been totally proffesional, answering all my questions and explaining everything fully risks and all and so vr freindly ! The surgery is not painful in any way, perhaps at worst uncomfortable for the Intralase part but hey whats 2 minutes discomfort for perfect vision. Post op recovery is going great, surgery Friday 29th Feb Driving and back at work Monday 3rd March with better than 20 20 vision ! It was a recommendation that enticed me to Optical Express I just wish I could have afforded it years ago. Truly life changing, If you are considering surgery don't hesiate go for it you will not be disappointed !

The treatment was weird to experience but not at all painful. Great compulsion to keep my eyes shut for the rest of the day of treatment but no pain or discomfort. Absolutely fantastic results with no adverse side effects whatsoever. My sight is better than 20/20 and I've not lost any of my near sight ability. The best thing I can liken the results to is, watching an old TV compared to High Definition TV. I cannot express how wonderful it is not to have to wear glasses, & how fantastic it is to be able to see with such sharpness of vision. My treatment was conducted at the Rosen Clinic, Salford Quays and the appt was on time. Subsequent check-up have been at Barlow House, central Manchester & I there's never a delay being seen. I have only two criticisms - firstly the location of my op was moved from Barlow House to Rosen Clinic at 10pm the night before the op, which meant I had to try to find the new location during rush hour the next day which was a bit stressful, & secondly the "recommend a friend" £50 reward has been slow in being paid - my friend is still waiting after 4 months. However, I would recommend my surgeon, Mr Wasseem Aziz of Optical Express Manchester

I was very nervous and wondering if I was doing the right thing, but after being at the Leeds clinic for a short while I was relaxed and happy. The staff were fantastic, answered any questions and were very professional. The procedure was very quick and I could see better straight away although a little blurry. My surgen Dr khan was lovely and explained everything he was doing. After the procedure my eyes stung like I had peeled a 1000 onions, but after a 2 hour sleep and some painkillers they felt fine and I could see better than I had done in 20 years. I wish I hadn't been a wimp for so long and had it done years ago, I can see better now than I could with my glasses on!!

Perscription before: R -5.00/-0.75 X 180 L -5.75/-0.25 X 160 Now, no prescription at all and can see BETTER than 20/20!!! I would recommend this to anyone- it is slightly uncomfortable during treatment but it's bearable and my vision just continued to improve over the first week. Once I had my consultation I wanted to get it done as soon as pos as I felt that if I procrastinated then I may of declined but I'm glad I went for it! I have now been fully discharged after 6 months with perfect eyesight. Delighted with the treatment and the service provided by all staff at Inverness branch.
