I would have preferred to spend more time with the surgeon and understood the surgery a little better.

had my eyes done early May 2011. It just gone 2 months, so far so good. Think there is still a tiny bit of shortsightness left but I haven't even thought about glasses or the operation for the last few weeks now.have another follow up booked with Mr O'Brart later this month, let's see how my eyes recovered.

I had LASEK performed by Mr O'Brart in July of 2006 and 3 years on I have perfect vision. I cannot recommend Mr O'Brart highly enough. He is obviously incredibly experienced and knowledgeable, and I found him to be utterly professional and highly reassuring. Everything was explained beforehand so I knew what to expect.I did find the LASEK to be very painful, particularly on Day 2, but by the end of Day 3 the pain has subsided. I was driving again after 7 days.Mr O'Brart gave me his home number, and also called me several times over the weekend to check on my progress.Fantastic.
