Dr Earley graduated in medicine from the National University in Ireland in 1980. She completed Ophthalmic training in London, Belfast and America. She is a fellow of the Royal College of Ophthalmologists in the UK. She gained a fellowship in Vitreoretinal surgery at Duke University, North Carolina and St Thomas’ Hospital London in 1990.
She was also awarded a MD from Queens University Belfast in 1991. Now she currently enjoys working as a Consultant Ophthalmologist in the Mater and Downe Hospitals. She successfully led her team to the UK Finalists of Hospital Doctors Award in 1999.
Her special interests include Cataracts. She specialises in Cataract and Vitreoretinal Disorders including Diabetic Retinopathy and Macular Degeneration.
