Having made an appointment a couple of years ago to have the laser treatment I couldn’t go through with it,then, I bumped into a friend I hadn’t seen for some months and she told me she had had it done and I had nothing to worry about so last year my husband and I went together and with his encouragement I had it done ( we both did ) and it has worked out great, I don’t know what all the worry was about,the procedure is painless and quick,and the results brilliant,the staff at Bolton are great nothing is too much trouble,they can be called anytime during working hours to answer any questions/queries I may have had,all in all it’s been the best thing I’ve spent money on in years,so if you are thinking about having it done go ahead you won’t be disappointed.Kim Leach (nee) Greenhalgh

I had my surgery nearly two years ago and have never looked back. The moment I rang up Visualase I felt automatically at ease by the receptionist who didn´t rush me off the phone. I hung up after my initial first inquiry after half an hour and felt like I had just caught up with an old friend. My first consultation was with Dr Stephen Doyle, and from that moment on he remembered my name,case and even what I was studying at Uni (even when I bumped into him whilst out shopping!) He was the surgeon who completed my surgery and talked me through every step of the way. The Bolton Clinic is extremely professional, there is no cold calling or constant email like you get from the bigger national companies and there is absolutely no pressure to go ahead after your consultations. The staff are all so lovely and the clinic is warm, friendly and inviting. I was recommended myself by a taxi driver and have since recommended a friend. We both now have perfect eyesight and are extremely happy. Go for it, you´ll have wished you did it sooner!!

What a great start to a new life, only wish I’d done it sooner. From seeing a blur the moment I removed my glasses and painful sinuses leading to migraines, i now have 20/20 vision, something I’ve not had for a very long time. The treatment you receive from the moment you walk through the door, to all the times you visit thereafter. I had both eyes done on the day, two weeks today, and it’s strange being able to spot things not even my glasses made me aware of, literally HD, amazing! It’s pain free and you’re in and out before you know it. They talk you through step by step and in my case, even hold your hand during the process.
