After a life time of glasses, struggling with contact lenses (using monovision when I started to get nearsighted) I took the plunge, had my consultation at Milton Keynes on 24 Feb, the earliest appointment I could make was 5 March in Oxford, well, I have always wanted to visit Oxford. Dr Joanne McGraw did my procedure, what a fantastic lady, I was told she was excellent, she certainly exceeded my expectations, explaining what was going to happen and gently guiding me through the procedure, yes, having the flap was a bit uncomfortable, but she said that was the worst part and had prepared me for this, as I have small eyes. The laser treatment was fantastic, I saw a few blue flashes, then out into the waiting room, and my goodness, I COULD SEE AND READ the posters. I am trying to persuade my daughter to have it done. This is my first day and it is great, I can see better now than I have ever done in my life, reading glasses are a must, but at my age that's a given. Yes I should have had it done ages ago, but the technology has advanced so much, any one reading an unsure, honestly, you will never regret it. I am going back to work tomorrow to show off my 20/20 + vision. Thank you so much Dr McGraw and the fantastic staff at Milton Keynes.

I would recommend spending that bit extra for warefront with intralase. I have no pain and had 20/20 vision with hours after surgery. The healing time is much better and faster. Optical Express have a great track record with many happy customers. Only regret I have is not having it done sooner. However you must wait for your eyes to settle down and not keep changing before you have this done. However Optical Express do many tests before you book the treatment

Excellent ! I've been wearing Specs and Contact lenses for over 20 years, what a fantastic feeling just waking up and being able to see with specs ! The whole experience has bee just brilliant, all the Optical Express staff I have had the pleasure of dealing with have been totally proffesional, answering all my questions and explaining everything fully risks and all and so vr freindly ! The surgery is not painful in any way, perhaps at worst uncomfortable for the Intralase part but hey whats 2 minutes discomfort for perfect vision. Post op recovery is going great, surgery Friday 29th Feb Driving and back at work Monday 3rd March with better than 20 20 vision ! It was a recommendation that enticed me to Optical Express I just wish I could have afforded it years ago. Truly life changing, If you are considering surgery don't hesiate go for it you will not be disappointed !
