1. Review of Centre for Sight Clinic
Centre for Sight is a long-standing and renowned eye surgery clinic, with three practices in London, Surrey and West Sussex. Its leading consultant eye surgeon, Mr Sheraz Daya, founded the clinic way back in 1996 with a clear mission: provide exemplary eye care to patients in facilities that are purpose-built with their needs in mind.
What makes Centre for Sight different? Centre for Sight is based on Mr Daya’s vision that better surroundings can provide a higher standard of care. Today patients get to enjoy a spa-like or luxury hotel experience, rather than the dread of most hospital surgeries.
Is there anything else I should know? As you’d expect then, this clinic also comes with the price tag that accompanies a five-star experience. Yes, the facilities are kitted out with high-end diagnostic tech and quality lenses, backed up by a team of highly trained staff. But you leave all the fancy atmosphere behind the moment you step outside the clinic, and it won’t be a priority for everyone.

Centre For Sight Reviews

The staff kept me full informed on the day of surgery. So much so, I did not feel any sense of anxiety or concern. The actual procedure was pain free and only mildly uncomfortable at worst for a few moments only. Slept for 8 hours after the procedure (apart from being woken up to have drops administered!!) and still can't believe how quick and pain free the recovery is. I now have 20/15 in one eye and 20/20 in the other. My only suggestion would be to review any possible improvement on the goggles - sleepng with them is the hardest part of the whole thing!

Having very short sight (-9) and an astigmatism, I was always nervous about laser surgery. Centre for Sight examined my eyes very thoroughly and then were very open. The surgeon explained that my eyes were at the limit of what they could achieve and that depending on how the initial stage of the operation went they may only be able to correct to -1. I still went for it and it was a total success - even 3 days later I have better than 20/20 in both eyes!Thank you!!

Really nice staff. excellent treatment. Quick, easy and effective.

I am very pleased with the overall result of my surgery, though slightly disappointed that my distance vision, having now settled down three months after surgery, is not as perfect as I would have liked, especially at night. However, I was warned that at my age(54)and with my high level of myopia with astygmatism it was likely that I would still need glasses for some things, especially reading. As it happens, I don't really need them for reading and all I need them for is for seeing outdoors at night, especially driving, so all in all I feel a good result has been achieved. I would certainly recommend anyone thinking of having laser eye surgery to go to The Centre for Sight as I think the quality of the treatment there is excellent and it re-assuring to know that you are in the hands of first class eye surgeons with full hospital facilities at hand should anything go wrong. I also liked the idea of tissue-saving using a laser to cut the flap rather than a blade.

I have nothing but praise and admiration for Mr. Daya and all his staff. I had tremendous apprehension prior to the surgery, but everything was explained in detail and prepared me what to expect. The surgery was painless, quick and within 4 hours I had 20/20 vision and very little discomfort. In fact, within 24 hours one would not even know that i underwent surgery.

Thank you for providing such a good service. Everyone at Centre for Sight was friendly and helpful. The laser surgery was a bit nerve-racking but everything was explained clearly and the medical staff were reassuring at every stage. Thank you again.

I found that the friendly yet professional approach to my treatment was very reassuring. The treatment was virtually painless and was over before i knew it.

For the first few hours after surgery i found the pain quite severe even with my eyes closed. It was more of a stinging sensation than the slight grittiness i had been told to expect. However after a few hours and a sleep plus paracetamol the pain went and there was no more discomfort. Overall I am very pleased with my treatment and happy with my vision. Thank you very much.
