Centre for Sight also provides interest free pay monthly finance options over a generous 24 months – with some clinics, you’ll be paying 11% APR after the first year. As with most clinics, there’s a deposit of £500 to secure the surgery, but this cost comes off the total cost.

I cannot recommend Mr. Daya and Centre for Sight highly enough. Mr. Daya was recommended to me by my optician in Reigate when I first considered laser eye surgery. This followed an episode of a severe reaction to a change in contact lens solutions and the realisation that I wanted to do away with glasses and contact lenses. I did a lot of research on the subject and the various companies offering laser surgery. To gain a balanced view I also consulted Ultralase in Guildford. Whilst Ultralase appeared very good, CFS, to my mind, were head and shoulders above Ultralase, the reasons being: At my initial consultation with CFS, as well as undergoing a battery of tests, I met Mr Daya, the surgeon, who explained the procedure in detail and answered my questions. Mr. Daya appears to be a man at the top of his game which persuaded me this was the man I wished to entrust with my sight. My consultation with Ultralase was conducted by a consultant – essentially a sales person. Whilst I underwent a similar battery of tests (which seemed a little less thorough than the CFS) and met with qualified Technicians I did not get the same level of comfort. To be fair to Ultralase they did say that I could return to meet the surgeon if I wished. The main difference between CFS and Ultralase was that the latter offered 3 standards of service, effectively bronze, silver and gold with prices to match. I am at a loss to understand how any surgeon could offer anything other than the best and would be prepared to compromise treatment for the sake of a few hundred pound. The impression I got from Mr. Daya (and I asked him about this) is that CFS assesses the best treatment for a patient – there is no tiered service. Incidentally CFS was cheaper than the quote from Ultralase, although for me, price was not as issue. The results some 48 hours post-procedure are fabulous and I am told, my sight should improve over the next few months. The procedure itself was virtually pain-free; certainly no worse than a visit to the dentist. At worst there was some mild discomfort but the end results more than justify the discomfort. Lastly a big thank you to everyone at CFS. I have visited both locations and everyone has been tremendously professional and helpful. Many thanks.

My whole experience at the Centre for Sight was excellent. At my consultation, pre-treatment tests were professional and thorough, with plenty of opportunities to have my questions answered. I especially like the fact that it was my surgeon, Mr. Saj Khan who tested my eyes and answered my questions. On the day of my treatment I found that the Centre in East Grinstead had excellent facilities and up-to-date technology, in a very clean environment. The staff at the centre were fantastic, in particular I found Lee very reassuring and caring. During my laser treatment Mr Khan and his assistants were focused and professional, whilst at the same time they created a reassuring and relaxing atmosphere for me. Some hours after I left the centre, Mr. Khan called to check how I was doing, a considerate touch I thought. The next morning at my follow up appointment I was delighted to find hat I already had better than 20:20 vision. I put my trust in Mr. Khan and his team with my eyesight and wouldn't hesitate in recommending this to anybody.
