Personal service with good aftercare. Easy asses to friendly staff on the phone for advice and surgeon offered extra check up to reassure when things went blur. Patient leaflets generally clear although separating artifical tear drop times and FML drops could have been clearer. Similarly it needs highlighting that bad vision can be experienced under artifical light (e.g. flourescent at work) with blurring and stars like some experience with car headlights making reading anything harder for up to 4 weeks in my experience. However I am delighted with the results and was amazed how quick and painless the whole procedure was. No regrets - the extra money for the Centre for Sight was worth it for the reassurance and personal service. 6 weeks on perfect sight.

I had worn contact lens for 20 years and had poor eyesight, -7 and -6.5, six months after the operation I have 20:20 vision in one eye and 20:15 in the other. It’s very special waking in the morning and being able to see and my eyes seem much healthier for not wearing contact lens. I chose the Centre for Sight because it uses a laser to cut the flap and the surgeons are experts in their field; they make blind people see. My operation was carried out by Mr Giledi who handled my eyes skillfully and quickly, with the result there was very little bruising. The staff are very pleasant and professional, and dealt with my worries well. Highly recommended, I should have done this years ago. My wife also had her eyes lasered at the Centre for Sight one month earlier and now has perfect sight. Expensive, but these people are the best.

After two years of lasik research, including wading through countless journals I decided to take the plunge on 22nd April. I had attended a prior consultation at Accuvision, who had stated I was a candidate, but decided I needed a little extra assurance. The journals i had studied pointed heavily toward intralasik - both for the almost eradication of flap complications, and the minimisation of other post-op complications. The consultation and surgery were performed by Mr. Daya who is, without a doubt, one of the best if not the best lasik surgeon in the country and is still producing research today. My pre-op prescription of -5 in both eyes has now been improved beyond even my expectations. I have yet to have a post-op eye exam but I can see clearer than I ever could with glasses or contact lenses. The only discomfort I felt was a gritty sensation for about 4 hours after the surgery which was easily contained by paracetamol/ibuprofen and rest. Centre for sight cost that little bit extra, but this is your eyesight. They have the best technology, the best laser and the best surgeon - worth every penny in my book. Don't hesitate!
