my experience was good.. my surgeon Saj Khan was a nice man, he talked me through everything which made me feel more at ease.. having my eyes done only took 6 minutes per eye which was good.. my after-care so far has been good.. i only had my eyes done on Sunday 21st Feb 10.. my eyesight is great.. its been an ok experience and would recommend to anyone who wants it.. im really happy with my results and glad i had it done..  More...

I have been extremely happy with results from my surgery which was done by Mr Osama Giledi. The surgeon was very kind and took alot of time to make sure I understood the risks and benifits of having this treatment done and explained the kind of outcome I was likely to expect. I was reasured by this as was alittle nervous about having surgery. During the procedure the surgeon talked me through what he was doing which made it lot easier for me and found my vision, through a little blurred at first got better and better. Now my vision is still really good , I only wish I had done it sooner and I would definitely recommend Mr giledi, who is an excellent surgeon.  More...

Haven't had the surgery done, but hoping to do it as soon as I can find a clinic I'm totally happy with (probably Ultralase or Accuvision). Was thoroughly unimpressed with Optical Express consultation though. Was told to allow 90 mins, but was there for over 2.5 hours - which would be fine except most of it in the waiting room not being told what was going on. I was only 'in consultation' for about 45 mins. I spoke to someone who had had it done already and was very pleased overall, although she was there to have a "touch up". i had lasik treatment done in another country about 18 months ago. I am having dry eyes and ghosting/double vison in both of my eyes. Especially right eye is pretty severe. is there a table of laser types with % success rate? If one company suggests LASEK treatment due to lack of cornea thickness and another says LASIK, how do I decide if the second is safe? The treatment is fantastic, I now have brilliant eyesight in both eyes! I have worn glasses and contact lenses all my life so to wake up in the morning and see clearly is just incredible. It has made a massive difference to my life - one of the best things I've ever done? Oh yes.
