Although i have no complaints about the whole lasik process i was however very disapointed with the result. within a few weeks of treatment i needed to wear glasses.i am about to be treated by another company to hopefully get the desired result.as i say i found laser sight essex very professional throughout was unhappy with the result.one word of warning they dont offer any enhancement treatment if required.  More...

I took a long time to make a decision about having laser eye surgery. Firstly I hate hospitals, and secondly because I didn't really believe I needed it. I had my surgery on 07.12.03 with Mr Kasaby at BUPA Springfield. I have left it over a year to write my comments as I really wned to fully test my "new eyes", and that is the only way to describe them Having been dependent on glasses for 20 years and having found that this can impact on whole areas of your life, I now after surgery so wish I had had the courage earlier to have my vision corrected. I had Lasik surgery to both eyes on 7 December 2002. The treatment I received was excellent and I am delighted with the result. I have normal vision in both eyes and apart from occasional blurred vision and dryness in the first few weeks have had no other problems. I hade been wearing glasses for 28 years and had been wearing GP contact lenses for 17 years for correction of Myopia. I had Lasik surgery with Mr R.K.Aggarwal on 12th September 2002 which has completely changed my life for the better. I wished I had the surgery earlier. My prescription was -7.00/0.25x30 in my right eye and -6.00/-1.00x165 in the left. I was dependent on my glasses. Laser Sight Essex operate a mobile VISX laser, moving between Southend, Chelmsford & Brentwood. If I'd known about them sooner I'd have looked into it further, but they are not that well advertised and I'd already booked with Accuvision. In fact I only found out about them through personal recommdations of their surgeons, Mr Aggerwal and Mr Kasaby.
