    Following my consultation and weighing up the pros and cons I chose to have Lasek as this involved no cutting of the eye. I was rather nervous when I first went for my surgery, but as soon as I was in the theatre with Prof Shah I was made to feel at ease, the surgery went very well with Sunil explaining everything he was doing as it went along, including what noises the machinery will make etc - nothing took me by surprise. The whole procedure took approx 20 minutes. I didn't really expect to be able to see very well after I left the clinic, but I was amazed at what I could see!
